KLC Update - We have Moved Location! 

KLC has moved from 38 Cowdy Street to 164 Van Order Drive. Our 2022-2023 school year will start at the new location!

1. Where exactly is the new location? What does it look like?

2. How will I get to the new location?

3. Where do I enter the building? Where do I go when I get inside?
a) We will let you know where to enter the building as soon as we receive confirmation of this. It will likely be through the front door.

b) Once you are inside, KLC is only on the first floor. You will see the main office and all classes are in the same hallway. You will see labels on each door.

4. Is this move permanent? Will there be any big changes?
Yes. Our move to 164 Van Order Dr. is permanent and will become our new home in no time!
No! All programs are moving over to the new location, including our staff. 

Learning At KLC In-person learning is back and we are thrilled to see you and to work together towards your academic goals. Registrations will be opening for this year Monday August 29th. You can drop in Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to register or book an appointment in-person or online (see link below). Students under 18 who are currently connected with another high school in the LDSB should speak to the administration at their home school.  If you are under 18 and have not been in school for a while, or if you are from out of our board, you can call us to discuss coming to KLC at 613-542-7369, or email Steve Ward at wardsb@limestone.on.ca. Anytime you come to KLC, you will be required to sign in and do a COVID screening check.   Students should also be aware of COVID  protocols and review board procedures here: LDSB COVID Immunization KFL&A Public Health will soon begin assessing student immunization records. Under the Immunization of School Pupils Act, children need to have proof of immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, meningococcal disease, whooping cough, and – for children born in 2010 or later – chickenpox to attend school. Parents and guardians are responsible for reporting each time their child gets a vaccine to KFL&A Public Health. Make sure your child is up to date and report all immunizations to us. Talk to your health care provider if you are unsure if your child is up to date. If you do not have a health care provider, please contact KFL&A Public Health’s Immunization Team at 613-549-1232. Use the Immunization Connect Ontario  (ICON) tool to track and report immunization records. Other options to report immunizations include: • Uploading your child's immunization records using the school-aged child immunization history reporting e-form. • Faxing a copy of the immunization record to 613-549-0985 (confidential fax). • Mailing a copy of the immunization record to KFL&A Public Health - Immunization Team. • Calling KFL&A Public Health’s Immunization Team at 613-549-1232.
